The Heartstrings 2025 was nothing short of magical—and the HYOGA Choir and HYOGA Chinese Orchestra were honoured to be a part of this wonderful event!
Reunited by music and shared memories, our alumni voices filled the hall with a Chinese piece 《沒有沒有傷口的宇宙》 that touched every heart in the room. The lyrics, both moving and uplifting, reminded us of the enduring strength of community in view of failures and frustrations, perseverance, and hope—messages that resonate far beyond the stage.
Meanwhile, members of our HYOGA Chinese Orchestra collaborated with the HYS Chinese Orchestra in the performance of 《宮．商．徵》- a piece that highlights the distinctive qualities of a dozen traditional Chinese instruments.
A heartfelt thank you to the School for giving us this chance to reunite through music, and for showing us that once a part of this school, always a part of this family.
