As we gathered at St. Ignatius Chapel last Saturday to celebrate the birth of our Lord at “Noel” presented by WYKOBMA, we prayed that our voices would become channels of hope, peace, joy, and love for everyone in our city, touching hearts and filling them with comfort, light, and grace of God.
The final months of 2025 have not been easy. Yet, as our guests of honour so beautifully reminded us, even when sorrows linger, the Lord calls us to live on in Him - and in Him, life finds renewal and deeper meaning. Through music, we connect across generations, schools, and circles of friends, journeying together from darkness into His marvellous light. We entrust ourselves to Christ, asking that He fill our hearts with His peace, His hope, and His blessing.
In this spirit, HYOGA Choir is truly grateful to WYKOBMA for the kind invitation. It was our honour to participate in this Christmas concert with the talented musicians of the WYK family, the SMCC Alumnae Choir, and Greeners’ Sound. United in faith and love, we sang as one to celebrate His grace and glory

This concert also marked the finale of our choir season. Our heartfelt thanks go to Ms. Leung, Ms. Yu, and all the teachers for their unwavering support - and to all our maestras and choristers for your passion, dedication and inspiration throughout the year It has been a beautiful journey shared together - from every rehearsal we refined our music, to the lasting sense of sisterhood we’ve once again cherished in song.
We hope more talented alumnae will join in the future! Coming up next, we will sing at Fun Fair 2026 (18 Jan)
