Official Statement

Heep Yunn Old Girls’ Association Limited (“HYOGA” / “the Association”) has recently received multiple inquiries from alumnae expressing concern regarding the solicitation of Heep Yunn alumnae by certain groups or individuals to participate in their activities.

The Association acknowledges these concerns and hereby clarifies as follows:

HYOGA is the sole official body authorised by Heep Yunn School (“the School”) to manage alumnae affairs, including but not limited to the recruitment of members, collection of information, receipt of funds, and organisation or promotion of activities of HYOGA and the School. Such functions are carried out only through official channels or by current members of the HYOGA Executive Committee. The Association has not conferred authority upon any group or individual to undertake any of the foregoing other than these prescribed channels. Accordingly, any activities not promoted or organised through the aforementioned official channels or personnel shall be deemed completely unrelated to the Association, and the Association shall bear no responsibility whatsoever for such activities or conduct.

The Association hereby reiterates that HYOGA is the sole alumnae association in Hong Kong acknowledged by Heep Yunn School. The Association is committed to consolidating and expanding the alumnae network, fostering sorority and support among alumnae, and actively supporting the School in the continued fulfilment of its educational mission and advancement.

HYOGA recruits alumnae exclusively through its official website, social media accounts, designated messaging groups, and email communications to participate in activities organised by the Association or the School. Alumnae may obtain the latest information on events, registration arrangements, and other official announcements by following the Association’s verified social media platforms, joining the designated messaging groups, or subscribing to its authorised email communications.
